in all my years that i have been on this earth i have not played spin the bottle once. does this mean that i’ve never actually lived? do a lot of people actually even play spin the bottle? or is its importance and prevalence stretched and exaggerated in media? these are the questions of the hour

Are teen parties with alcohol and red solo cups even real?!!?!

Has anyone ever participated in a food fight?!?

Help beat back the attacks on working families.
Get registered to vote.

HEY YALL DO THIS NOW. Make sure you’re registered. Voter turnout is always abysmal during midterm elections, which conservatives are counting on: If only the elderly vote, Republicans tend to win. Register, find your polling place, and commit to setting aside some time that day to do your civic duty.

  6. I was tagged by spittakesandofcourses! I don’t tag other people, but I do answer questions bc i know other ppl like to see! (aside from music player ones because, guys I don’t own a player with a shuffle all to myself. My computer’s music is shared among everyone and I haven’t updated my iPod since the old computer crashed in 2011)

    • What is your favorite book?

I don’t think I have a certain book, per se, but I know the book I’ve read the most over and over again recently is The Fault in Our Stars.

    • Who is your favorite musical theater actress? (no idea? actor)

    Kara Lindsay

    • What was the last album you listened to?

I’m listening to If/Then right now

    • Who is your least favorite TV character?

    Cora on OUaT

    • Who is your favorite film director?

Idk. Direct this question to my brother. He pays attention to director’s a lot more than I do.

    • What is your favorite sports team? (If you can’t answer this, answer “What sport do you like to watch?”)

    USA Swimming!

    • Describe your perfect day in ten words or less.

Sleep all morning, see musicals all afternoon.

    • What is your ideal transportation?

Subway who cares that i’ve only ridden it a few times out of state. it was awesome

    • What is your ideal superpower (does not include time travel or teleporting)?

    To be able to heal.

    • If you had a time machine and a teleporter, where (and what event) would you go to?

Any time before 48 BC and to the Library of Alexandria. I want to see all the books and scrolls and all that information in one place. You guys should have seen me the first time I went to my local university’s library.

EVERY TIME SOMEONE BRINGS UP THE LIBRARY OF ALEXANDRIA I GET SO ANGRY.

but why

Because it got burned. All of that knowledge, lost forever.

The library was destroyed over 1000’s of years ago. The library consisted of thousands of scrolls and books about mathematics, engineering, physiology, geography, blueprints, medicine, plays, & important scriptures. Thinkers from all over the Mediterranean used to come to Alexandria to study. Most of the major work of civilization up until that point was lost. If the library still survived till this day, society may have been more advanced and we would sure know more about the ancient world.
